At World of Smiles, Pediatric Dentistry we strive to provide only the highest quality patient care while having a blast with your child! A general dental office is set up to provide great patient care but mainly to adults they are not geared for the unique needs of children.
Just as your child will go to a pediatrician for medical check-ups because they specialize in child care so does a pediatric dentist. Dr Michelle Stafford is an accredited pediatric dental specialist. This means that she has completed two extra years after dental school to learn the needs of working with children. During her additional two years she worked with children of all ages and children with special needs.
A pediatric dental office is set up for the enjoyment and comfort of each child. The reception area is full of fun toys to inspire and enhance the dental experience. At World of Smiles we even have office animals to provide educational information on sea life and jungle life. Each child is given the extra special attention needed to ensure a safe, fun and friendly experience each time they come in. With the extra heartfelt time spent with each patient we are able to cover prevention methods to hopefully keep each child on track for a cavity free life.
The dental team at World of Smiles prides themselves on the education and information they provide to each patient and parent. We make sure that information is provided on both the child's level and the adults. All visits in our office are tailored to fit the needs of the children who come to see us. As we go step by step with each child we make sure that everything being done is explained in a through yet kid friendly way. We use fun words to replace the "scary" ones and strive to change the perception of a dental visit. Dr. Stafford and her dental team have chosen this specialty because they each personally believe that every child should have a positive experience going to the dentist and a chance to grow up cavity free and happy!
